First of all right click your Accounts name, then click settings and click on server settings. Here IMAP accounts settings are given so if you want to use POP3 then just change the Port no. to 143 and click know click on outgoing server to change the port. Select your account and then click edit and changed the port no. to 25 click ok to finish.
How to setup your email signature in Thunderbird email?
First of all right click your Accounts name, then click settings and enter your signature in the Signature text box .Select the checkbox “Attach the signature from a file instead(text,HTMLor image)you will see that signature is visible in grey color now. Next to select our signature file, click on choose button to browse it, double click the file name ,then file name with full path is displayed in the box and click know to check if signature is working or not, compose an email, you will see that your signature is displayed in the body.
How to change your email password in Thunderbird email?
First of all you are required to delete your old password then click on Tools, then options and select the password tab if it is not selected and click on saved passwords. Here you will see that passwords for both incoming and outgoing server are visible, so select the password of either server or then click on remove and if wanted to remove both passwords click on remove all button. Now restart Thunderbird and type your new password in the dialog box and click ok.
How to delete an email account in Thunderbird email?
First of all right click your Accounts name, then click settings and click on Account actions but please be sure that account which you want to delete is selected, and click remove account. A confirmation dialog box is displayed, thus click on OK and your e-mail account is removed.
