Configuring a POP email account in Ipad email
- To configure POP email account, first, locate and click the “Settings” icon. It is possible that it may be on a different screen or in a different location.
- Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”,
- and click “Add Account”.
- Then choose “Other”.
- Now click on “Add Mail Account” button
- and enter the Name, Email address you want to configure and its password.
- “Description” will automatically appear, but if you want to change, you can.
- When finished, press “Next”.
- Next, ensure the POP option is selected.
- Now you have to enter the host Name, User Name and Password for the Incoming Mail Server & Outgoing Mail Server.
- When finished, press “Next” Then press “Save”.
- The POP email account has been setup on the iPad, and you can see it listed under “Accounts”.
- Now return to the home screen by clicking the Home button on the iPad and to check your email, press the “Mail” icon ,
- and you see all your email accounts setup in your iPad, will be listed there.

Turn SSL to on from the Incoming and outgoing settings menu ,click on the “server port “and make the POP port no. change to 995 in incoming and 465 for outgoing and click”Save”.Then restart your phone, for the changes to take effect.

How to setup your email signature in Ipad email

- Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”,
- and click “Signatures”option.
- Now add your signature in the given space and click “Mail contacts…”button to return.
- Your e-mail signature is setup, which you can see by selecting “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”, in signature box. Now return to the home screen by clicking the Home button on the iPad
- and to check your signature, press the “Mail” icon,
- compose a message
- and you see your signature is added to the bottom of the e-mail.
How to change your email password in Ipad email
- First, locate and click the “Settings” icon. It is possible that it may be on a different screen or in a different location.
- Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”,
- and select the e-mail account for which you want to change the password and update the password in the given box
- and click “Done”.
- Now return to the home screen by clicking the Home button on the iPad .Your password has been updated.
How to delete an email account in Ipad email
- First, locate and click the “Settings” icon. It is possible that it may be on a different screen or in a different location.
- Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
- and select the e-mail account which you want to delete and
- click on” Delete account” button.
- Now box appears asking for confirmation, click” Delete “button
- and you will see that your account is no longer visible in e-mail accounts list.
- Now return to the home screen by clicking the Home button on the iPad.
Configuring custom ports in Ipad e-mail
- First, locate and click the “Settings” icon. It is possible that it may be on a different screen or in a different location.
- Then select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”,
and select the account for which you want to change the port no. Now click “SMTP” under “outgoing mail server”. Next click “primary server”. Next click “server port”; change the port from “25” to “587”.Click “done”.
